From Fit to Fierce
Annette joined us with a clear goal: to get fit and slim. However, her journey evolved into something far more profound and inspiring. She transitioned from simply wanting to shed a few pounds to becoming a powerhouse of strength and resilience.
Through dedication and hard work, Annette's transformation was nothing short of remarkable. She not only achieved her initial goals but also discovered a newfound passion for strength training. Annette's progress was so impressive that she transitioned to a competing athlete in her 50s.
Embracing her strength, Annette went on to compete in powerlifting competitions. Her story is a testament to the power of personalised training and unwavering commitment.

"Joining the gym was initially about getting fit and losing some weight, but it turned into so much more.
Navigating menopause and its impact on my bone density, combined with back pain, required a unique approach. My coaches designed a program that not only improved my fitness but also made me stronger and more resilient than ever. The personalised training I received was transformative, and I found myself not just feeling better but becoming a powerlifting competitor in my 50s.
This journey has been life-changing, turning my focus from just being fit to being strong and sturdy. Competing in powerlifting is something I never imagined I could do, and I owe it to the incredible support and expertise of my trainers.
I'm still not sure whether they've been the best, or the worst, influence in my life, but I do know the team at TTMF is always pushing me to achieve things I never thought possible."

You're an athlete now Rob!
Rob first joined us looking for help with & rehabilitation and recovery after a slipped disc left him with severe sciatica in both legs.
Rob worked with Head Coach Alex & Transformation Coach Charlie through very specific to stabilise his back.
Rob went above & beyond and went on to compete with Charlie along side him in an international HYROX competition.

"After years of on and off crippling pain, my back eventually decided to give up the ghost, eventually making it back to the gym last September.
Alex & Charlie set out a very specific training programme to strengthen my back, my core and build back strength and mobility.
So much was the success of the programme that, as a ridiculous New Year’s resolution, I decided to do a HYROX competition. Charlie set about on a new programme to get me ready, and offered to join me on my journey to exhaustion and beyond.
Charlie made the training so much fun, supporting me through periods of regret, lack of motivation and over excitement.
At the end of March 2024, a year after being laid up for over a month, Charlie and I completed HYROX, beating our target time.
I can’t thank Charlie enough for his support, care, endless positivity, and expertise to get me, at 47, to the fittest I’ve ever been.
Next HYROX (hopefully with my favourite training partner) is on the horizon."

James went all in with his training...
He was unbelievably inspiring, staying consistent with his programming inside the gym & through systems outside the gym, eventually training 5 - 6 times weekly.
James totally changed his lifestyle, he stopped drinking, ate healthy, combined with a love for the gym, he progressed his training to 5 x a week shortly after starting, when he felt and saw the impacts it was having!

"I’ve been working with TTMF, specifically Coach Charlie, since early 2024 and can highly recommend Charlie. He provided me with knowledge and motivated me in making progress towards my goals. Just after a few weeks I started seeing results. My fitness level is probably the best it has ever been. I have lost over 14kg in weight while gaining a more defined body and muscle mass. Sessions with Charlie are focused and targeted. I’ve been very happy with the progress made to date and certainly couldn’t have done it without Charlie's expertise and guidance. He also offered great advice on foods that are good and bad for the body while maintaining a balanced diet.

"Working with Charlie has changed my life. The obvious changes are to my body having lost 15kg in 7 months. Having struggled with maintaining a healthy weight and after yo-yo dieting for over 30 years, I initially questioned what would be different this time.
With a special holiday approaching I decided I had nothing to lose other than seeing if having a PT and working with Charlie would be different - and it was. Having never exercised before, Charlie allowed me to build up my confidence slowly over months gradually increasing from one PT session a week to adding steps through walking...
Eventually I built up to additional classes and for the first time ever with Charlie’s encouragement I tried jogging - something I was certain I would never be able to do. He helped me start to visualise myself as someone who was a jogger and who did exercise. After a few months, my body began to crave the need to move and want the types of foods that would fuel my body for a workout.
Charlie has been there to support me throughout our journey together - being understanding when I’m finding something tough and also encouraging me to take the next step when he knew I was ready for.
Sessions with Charlie are always fun and I look forward to feeling that I am safe in his hands during my workout and that Charlie has planned my session with my goals in mind.
He has encouraged me to take a more holistic approach to my lifestyle such as better sleep, nasal breathing and reducing my screen time. Aside from the obvious physical change, one of the biggest changes has been in my mental health. Charlie has helped me experience how much exercise impacts your mind. I now can’t imagine ever not exercising regularly for its benefits not only to my health, but to my mind as well.
I have Charlie to thank for enjoying my special holiday and feeling physically fit and healthy and able to match the energy levels of my children - and for making me feel more confident and comfortable in my body. I am looking forward to where my fitness journey with Charlie takes me next. 7 months ago, Charlie told me this would be the best decision I ever made and that I wouldn’t regret it - and he was right!"

"I've been working with TTMF on and off over the last 8 years. I've been working with Alex consistently for almost a year and I am the fittest I have ever been.
I didn't notice the small differences to start with, but a medical and fitness assessment last week proved it. Body fat down to 19% and a resting heart rate on an ECG of 39 bpm.
It was going so well until the physio said it was incredible...even before he factors in my age"
